| This exciting trio of galaxies are gravitationally bound and are an estimated 100 million LY from Earth! They represent three distinct types of galaxies; NGC 5985 is a barred spiral (left), NGC 5982 is an elliptical galaxy (center), and NGC 5981 is an edge-on spiral galaxy (right). They are located in the constellation of Draco. |
